Picking a filter tip size is simpler than it looks. The number is the diameter of the tip in millimeters, and the right one depends on how big you roll. A tip that is too small leaves a loose, floppy end. A tip that is too wide makes the roll hard to close. Match the two and everything gets easier.

How to choose between two sizes
If you are between sizes, think about how you roll.
- You roll tight: go with the smaller tip. A tight roll has a narrower end, and the smaller tip will sit snug.
- You roll loose or pack heavy: go with the larger tip so the end has room.
- You are ordering for a brand or shop: pick the size that matches the roll weight you sell most, so every piece looks the same.
Does the material change the size?
No. Our PLA tips and wood blend tips use the same sizing, so a 10mm is a 10mm in either one. PLA tips come in 9mm to 13mm, and wood blend tips come in 9mm to 12mm.
One tip on using reusable tips
Stop a little before the tip instead of burning all the way down to it, the same way you would with a paper tip. The tip lasts longer and stays clean.
