A custom filter tip puts your logo on something your customers hold and keep. If you have never ordered them before, here is the whole process, start to finish, with real prices and timelines.
Step 1: Get your logo ready
A filter tip is a small canvas, between 9mm and 13mm across, so simple artwork works best.
- Use a bold, high-contrast version of your logo. Thin lines and small text are hard to read at this size.
- Short is better. An icon, initials, or one short word reads more clearly than a full tagline.
- No logo yet? Send a name, a phrase, or a rough idea. We can help turn it into a layout.
Step 2: Pick a material
- PLA tips: plant-based, made from sugar cane and corn starch, in 5 colors. Orders start at 50 tips.
- Wood blend tips: 3D printed for a natural wood look, in 6 finishes. Orders start at 100 tips.
Step 3: Pick a size
Match the tip to the roll you make or sell most: 9mm for 1.0g rolls, 10mm for 1.5g, 11mm for 2.0g, 12mm for 2.5g, and 13mm for 3.0g. Our size guide covers this in more detail, and the $12 sample pack lets you test sizes before you commit.
Step 4: Choose your quantity
The more you order, the less each tip costs. Current pricing for custom PLA tips:
| Quantity | Price | Per tip |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | $50 | $1.00 |
| 100 | $80 | $0.80 |
| 250 | $144 | $0.58 |
| 500 | $240 | $0.48 |
Wood blend tips run from 100 for $80 up to 1,000 for $440. For larger runs, message us for bulk pricing.
Step 5: Approve your proof
Before anything is made, you get a proof showing how your logo will look on the tip. Nothing goes into production until you say yes, so there are no surprises when the box arrives.
Step 6: We make and ship it
Orders ship 3 to 5 days after you approve the proof. We make every order ourselves in small batches and check it by hand.
